Our 2 game hosts were great and they made the experience well worth it. I would thoroughly recommend doing both of these rooms as they are amazing. We got out with 5 minutes left, and I think thats quote good for only 2 player. There are so many unexpected turns in this game that you actually get confused as there are so many good puzzles □. The amount of unique puzzles in this room is phenomenal. We then proceeded to do operation black sheep later in the day and this is by far one of the best rooms I have been to. Plan 52 was a great room as it felt like a classic escape room (like a detective room) with a few updated features such as technology in the final room. The first room we completed was plan 52 where we didn’t escape but our game host allowed us to continue for another 10 minutes, in which we finally escaped □. All members of staff are really friendly and the rooms are so immersive. We came last year to cluequest and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. I'm sorry you did not enjoy your experience. ![]() We are the only Escape room that does that and it benefits us and is very satisfying and exciting for us when people escape, as many people have. We want people to solve our rooms on their own and get t-shirts. We are developing a fifth room that will definitely be next level, and as soon as we finish it, we intend to remake Pharaoh's Revenge which will be completely and radically different. As for the "production value", many people have enjoyed our original rooms. The record for that room is 22:30, so if we pointed out clues very obviously, it would not be challenging enough for teams that are better "in tune" with that room. Most people, we have found, really like the challenge and are more satisfied when they complete those difficulties. While I do not discount your concern, we do have to make the rooms fun for a large segment of the population and they are definitely challenging. We also point out in that room that you MUST look everywhere in the room and that it is the biggest obstacle in that room. In that particular room there are clues that identify how many things you have to find. Also, as in many escape rooms, you do end up looking for things that are missing. As for Pharaoh's Revenge, some manual dexterity is required for some of our rooms which make it more challenging. Since we do not have a wooden cryptex, I'm not sure what your concern was in the Game Master room. But Mom and Pop don't want you to succeed at their room, and they seem a little vindictive about it. It kills me a little to say that it is the worse room we have done because I know it is an independant, Mom and Pop business. The only thing I can say is that if you are a newcomer to escape rooms, you should start with this business. We have done a ton of escape rooms in cities across the U.S. Then, they had yet another cryptex, and the solution was a non-sense word. There was a hidden item the size of a golf ball that you were expected to find, and there was nothing else in the room pointing to where you might look for it. We decided to do the Egyptian themed room. The next year, around Thanksgiving, we decided to give them another try because frankly, we had depleted all the good escape rooms in the city. The production values were not great, and the owner says you get a free T-shirt if you escape without getting any clues. The puzzles were ok, but the only thing I walked away with from that room was that their wood cryptex didn't work well at all and required multiple people to secure the loose cogs. We originally did their room Gamemaster over a year ago.
