Why? Well, basically how the battles of KHUX works is this: if your medal’s strength is higher than the enemy’s defense, you’ll deal damage. These are probably the most complicated to work with as they have a lot of stuff that goes with them.įirst is the Strength stat. Essentially there’s a few different kinds:Īs you would imagine, these are the medals that you use to kick Heartless butt. There’s quite a few things to talk about medals, so let’s break it down. Now that we’ve covered how to get medals, let’s talk about the medals themselves! But with other banners that can occur, they’re falling price, which means that the cost is reduced each time you pull! It goes from 2,700 to 2,500 to 2,200 to 2,100 to 1,900 (if I remember correctly anyways.) but 1,900 is always the lowest it’ll go. ![]() As you see with Leon, he’s a standard one costing 3,000 Jewels per pull. There is also a couple different types of banners. You can get lucky and get a really good medal or a bunch of junk from those random medals. You will also get a strange grey medal that we’ll talk about later, as well as a random assortment of other medals. So if you pulled for Leon 5 times, you will get him in that 5th pull no matter what if you don’t get him in any other pulls. They mostly last only two weeks and you get that medal guaranteed usually in 5 or 10 pulls. The temporary deals are, well, temporary. ![]() Basically you sell Tier 2-10 medals and get “points”, spend 100 points to get a Boosted SN+/SN++ medal! It’ll make more sense in the future, but it is very useful for getting guaranteed strong medals.Īs you can see there’s a couple currently: SN++ Leon and SN++ Roxas. This is actually something that was very recently added! Original it was a temporary thing, but because it was so popular they made it permanent. If you do 30 pulls total on this deal, you get a “Stopper” medal, which just means that you’re guaranteed a very useful medal! But personally it’s not worth going after since all you get is three 7* medals. This is a deal that can be done once per day. But why exactly? Well, this is something we’ll get back to later. Here’s what the current ones are:Īs you’d imagine, this deal is meant for beginners. But they’re still very useful to beginners either way. They’ve changed multiple times throughout the years. The “permanent” part of these banners aren’t very permanent, hence the quotations. So I’m here to offer some insight! First, what different types of banners are there? Let’s take a look! This is one of the first features of the game that you’re introduced to in the tutorial, but it’s never exactly touched on for what types of banners there are, or which ones are good to start off with.
